I'm headed out in the AM. I'll set a new tag then... May be Sunday before I can post it though
Shit... I forgot to set a new tag this weekend...
right thread this time
Come on man, we're all sitting here in front of the computer waiting.
Well... what had happen was... I had the Honda loaded up, but when I went to head out the ignition switch threw up all over the driveway... So, I swapped it all to the KTM. That threw off my whole master plan. Now I had a rider in tow on a KLR, and I was on the KTM I didn't want to make him too skeered about off roading so we just pretty much slabbed it out... Once the red bugs clear up, and I can put on some proper pants I'll get back out there.
Or if I feel up to it, I'll squid it out and set something closer than I wanted
Pfft KLR owners aren't scuurred. Just financially challenged.
Well, I was thinking about all that extra gas you'd be using heading off through the woods
Yeah having 3 gallons or less sucks, oh wait I didn't have to refuel all weekend. or add oil
I only bought fuel three times
Well shit, I reckon I was supposed to place a new tag about a billion years ago. Let's go with this to get the game started back up. Not sayin' you gotta do it on a street bike, but feel free to ride something interesting out there.
We all know where it is, and some of us rolled right up to it last weekend. Lots of ways to get to Cliff Lake, and as many more to get home. Have fun, and enjoy the ride. A whole world of stuff in the ANF to see.
Like Elmer Fudds...
I'm glad this has been bumped! My bike has been spending way too much time in the shop collecting dust. Then again the trails are a little dusty these days as well. I did get out to the ANF Sunday to burn a whole tank of gas (72 miles) on the 450 even caught up with Area51 while out there. Maybe by the end of hunting season I will be able to get a bigger tank that will ride all the way to Cliff Lake and back!
Hmmm. OK, I've been working too hard and need a break.
This thread needs more cowbell

Could be time for an A.M. ride...
Only six months until the current tag is bagged and the next one is up!
One of these local FF's will grab the tag. I could show them a quick way through the woods to get there if need be... Maybe Joey will come over from Starke and grab it
I can nab it Thursday. Hopefully.
Will grab a new post tomorrow. Too busy getting my project back together
Hopefully will find something that won't take a few months to tag.
Dammit Mike, you're not keeping up with tradition.
You should have posted the tag in another 5 months.
