Fu and I will be there
Saw this last night in Face Plant. A little uncomfortable to watch (at first) :eek1. Skip to the 5 min mark for the action.
Lux - you remember this section of the TAT? Looks as about as "out there" as you can get. A perfect example of how things can go pear shaped real quick.

I saw that vid when it was first posted in Face Plant. :eek1
Hey, that's how I ride!...slow and onto my face. (Wheeeeeeeeeee...oh crap.)
'Crazy...The rider didn't break any bones (He must be a little fluffy, like me.), and the DR was ridden back to the interstate and down the interstate to town. I don't remember the whole aftermath, but I'm guessing he had to replace the handlebars and a light or two.
As I sit here contemplating going to Baja.....great.....
No Shit Bruce. I thought the same thing.
looks like the end of Utah. Pretty crazy stuff but some of the best riding to be had
Meh, just don't do stupid chit and you'll be OK!

Since the fleas trailer their bikes here is heads up on a deal for longbed truck owners.
I was looking at truck bed tents but didn't see the spending $250 for on when I found Naiper Outdoors blowing out the longbed IIIs for $140. A bit more research reviled a promotion code on twitter for 35% off anything in the store. Use code EASTER13 good thru Easter. Ended up being $111 shipped
I may have to get on of those.... Looks pretty swank
Thanks, looks like an interesting tent.
I was tent camping last weekend. The warmest day reached maybe 45 degrees. But' we had some rain and the gravel roads were an absolute hoot! Hope to see some of you up this way for the RDV.

I'll order me up one of them and that'll be good enough reason to trade the SUV in on a truck!
Coupon is good on the SUV tents also
Hey KyleB - You know what road that was? Didn't look familiar . . .
On the road this week - up to SW VA. Been going up to a co-workers cabin in Elk Creek since 2001. Was not expecting full on winter but it sure was fun in the snow - a lot like sand so I was right at home right? :huh (other than 24' brrrrrr) a little front end push and lot's of wheel spin.
The cabin/property is at 3100 ft with some hill climbs up to 4000. Here is a pix on the top of Mt. Maximo.
It's a large property, the snow made it esay to carve some fun single track. Most the time I would stay on close and connect different loops that I made. There must be 100 miles of dirt roads around the cabin and leading up into the Iron Mts. to explore.
Barn parking at night.
Typical greeting when I got back to the cabin.
Not sure how these will work on the Zombie truck being that it has a 5" exhaust stack
Built in heater:huh
