    Hey there RR,

Can't thank you enough for the trip down memory lane !!! Made the journey around Mexico during the winter of 1980-81 (11,000 mi), saw much of what you report about here but missed some of the great things you experienced. Today's travel info is wonderfull and opens so many doors to exploring the people and culture!!
    Let's all go to MexicO!

We went to see & swim in a Cenote. Very common in this area. It is a natural pitt, or sinkholee resulting from the collapse of limestonee bedrockk that exposes groundwater underneath.
    Really cool.

Spent a week at the resort with Lily. Then got back on the bike waiting in the parking lot. Nice that they let me leave it there for 3 1/2 weeks. There is security & I had it covered. I didn't post more pictures at the resort because it was not really part of the motorcycle adventure. Great resort though!
Rode to another Mayan Ruins, Ek Balam

A local recommended this really cool shop that would only allow select clientele thru security. He was of course hoping I would buy something "Very Pricey" & he would get a commission.
Beautiful pieces of art here, but pricey & I really try not to collect much other than pictures of course, which are very lightweight & can last forever. I do consider pictures a treasure! So here are a few more treasures in my collection. Nice aren't they. & they were cheap!:D

You see many of these. It has been broken off & would have been longer. Part of Mayan symbolism. Phalic tributes.
