I totally agree, the life skills are the core reason of why I coaxed them to ride trials. It's so much more than being able to just do cool stuff on a bike. BRF may be a tough one for us to make with my work schedule but we will try to make it out there to one of the WOTA events. We will for sure finish up the year at Theilman and North Mankato. Not sure if you are aware but there is the threat of a national 3-day event at Spirit Mt MN in August of 2013. The only info I've seen so far has been thru Aerostitch and their ad for the Very Boring Rally. I hope like crazy this happens as the last one was incredible to watch.

Well do your best to keep her spirits up, I just bought a used trials bicycle for the kids to learn some basic stuff also..
this has helped a bit also as far as they learn basic moves and convert to the big bike, Kids learn crap so fast.......
Now back to the Dads and Daughters Thread......... ( Sorry ) :lol3
My daughter will be on the lookout for her so she will be on her toes.....
Best of luck and be safe

thats just so very cool. I'm just a casual fan of the sport but I know they are every bit as talented as those who ride at a much higher mph over whatever the course might be. good for both of them! :clap:thumb

My daughter (74 Yamaha DT175) and me (77 Hodaka 250SL) after a day long dual sport ride October 2011.
What a great time we had.
It was fun to see her improve her technique as the day wore on.
