    Great Weekend of Riding...

On Saturday, BreeAnna (my oldest) and I rode in the Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity Poker Run...BreeAnna was officially the youngest participant in the event and drew a lot of attention with her Pink mohawk helmet. The KTM got quite of few looks as well. There were actually two KTMs out of about 200 motorcycles...Can you spot ours?

Over all the weather was great and we did about 170 miles...

Today Both girls and I participated in the Washington Area Trail Riders Spring Trail Ride...
It is a Blind Enduro competition held at Eagle Bay. This family friendly event is a competition but not at race. For a Blind Enduro, you complete multiple laps on one of the tracks for time. At the end of the day, the person with the most consistant lap times wins...

We got an early start and headed out around 7:30
    [IMG]

Got the girls and I registered, waited for the riders meeting and they were ready for the trails. They changed things up a bit this year and moved the kids track to flatter ground. But the added parts of the previous kids track to the 2 mile loop. Made for a really nice course to run...the kids seemed to like the other track better as well...

Cheyenne just tore it up....First on her TTR 50 then on BreeAnna's KLX 110...

At the end of the day, the girls had made friends with another pair of sisters who rode at Eagle Bay who we will likely coordinate a few rides with, nothing or no one broken...so we headed up to the door prize drawings and race awards.

We did alright with the door prizes, the girls both won "KawiGirl" coffe mugs and I won a bottle of plastic cleaner...But it was the awards that surprised us most...

Cheyenne.....she took first place in the Kids 10 and under class (she was also the only girl)

But....she wasn't the only winner in the family....

I took first in the 16 and over Advanced class....
no cool plaque...no cool trophy....not a cool printed piece of paper in a frame.....
It was something much more practicle....

Im right there with you. I have 4 kids. Daughter and 3 XY's. I got divorced 3 years ago. My Daughter, 18, and son,15, have not spoken to me or seen me since. Their mother is poison. My younger sons see me at all the proper, legal intervals and we are great. I empathize and sympathize with you. Its hard. Soo hard. Mostly I miss their touch.

Someday I hope to take my daughter for a ride on the back of one of my K bikes. Im envious of all you dads.

I take great comfort in the love of the two other little girls in my life. Sara Fe and Addy are the daughters of the love of my life. I ADORE them and they me. Best of all, about this time next year....they will be able to call me DAD....so I'll get some of that back. It doesn't replace my Sugar Bug, but it helps.

I wouldnt know what I would do without my 2 offspring, They are literately my best friends as we are all on the same page
( well the texting thing drives me a bit nuts )
We are a very very close bunch, and I am very proud of their accomplishments, They work hard, they play hard, and even in practice they know how to make things new and exciting.....
They always keep me on my toes, their Trials riding ability has past my ability, its fine I just sit and take piks now.....

You have an absolutely beautiful girl there, and I don't mean that in a creepy way.

Here's my baby girl that turns 5 tomorrow. She absolutely loves riding on daddy's motorcycle, and I'm buying her a 50cc this summer.

My other daughter has absolutely no interest in getting on daddy's motorcycle. Haha

    :stupid

@MALER If my girl turns out like yours, I'd be out there talking to the local "hoodlum" about some "deal" for her protection :p
She is definitely a heart breaker mate.. take good care of her... She actually reminds me of a young Kelly McGillis.. from Top Gun
