awesome picture above
can you please tell us more about it?
thank you for sharing with us
( I don't remember if I shared these earlier or not)
One of the areas we ride hosts a spring trail ride and blind enduro. (most consistent lap times) This year was my youngest first time riding the event. They had a kids course set up that snakes around a grass field. We were parked near the course, so we just let her ride. She must have done over a hundred laps...
At the time she had a TTR-50 and was keeping with the pace the bigger kids were setting.
There was one boy she just couldn't stay ahead of...
We let her take out her sister's KLX 110...
She took to it like a fish to water... a few more cc's was all she needed after a lap or two he was trying to keep up with her.
At the end of the day she left with the first place Kids Class Trophy
Now she wants to try Hare Scrambles...
Might have to try VCHSS race before the season ends...
Sure thing. A ride a few weeks back at Medicine Lake, Alberta. One of the few this year due to work and one of the few that the wife made it on too, so was an awesome day.
Son's last ride on his PW before we moved to his TTR50. He wanted a bike that shifted gears like his big sister.
That is really an amazing story and you have shown us a fantastic pictures. You can't help but smile after reading your post. Please tell her that we all said congratulations.
Thanks for sharing all of this with us
Thank you so much for filling in some of the details about that picture. That's an image that's going to give you great memories for a lifetime. I'm glad that both of the kids are writing and I appreciate you sharing this with us.
Ahem... This is my daughter, she's ridden with me on all my bikes. I don't have any with me showing us ON a bike, maybe later when I return to the U.S. . A Combat Medic, she's totally BA to hear her tell it, lol.
Great pics and story - rowing is an awesome sport.
You must be very proud!
Here's my youngest daughter getting a helmet for her birthday.
So she had to practice now.
But if you want to ride you must first shine
Then of we go, together with her big sister
Did they like the ride?
I think so.
Practicing the ADV salut
I hope she doesn't do that when the teacher assigns homework LOL.
My 16 year old heading off to school last week. She got her street license recently and has been trail riding since she was 8. I picked up this 1977 Kawasaki KZ400 Deluxe for her
Looks like the old girl was well takin care of .
Mine is talkin about street riding ..... Its funny she has been racing for a few years now and I have to problem running her around so she can loft her dirt bike but yet a street bike does scare me ??
Natral progression . Its the dam cagers I was lane sqweezed twice this year and in the same month !
Oy . sorry for the rant on with the great pics
That's awesome, glad to see someone put that old kz to some good use. I remember seeing it on the omaha CL, neat old bike and and even cooler story with a young girl using it as her first street bike!
I traded a 1949 non running truck project for it that I didn't really have the time or money to do anything with. I can't afford a new bike right now, otherwise it would have been a Honda Repsol replica CBR250R with ABS in the garage for her to ride :) My wife's first bike that we got her after we met in college was a 1981 Kawasaki KZ440G, probably should have kept it when she ungraded to a Yamaha FZ6 in 2005.
Fine fall day for riding and liked how her hair looked in the sun. She was practicing jumps on the little bump in the pasture. That's her brother behind her, you can see the ADV stickers they are rocking on their front fenders if you look closely.
Wish I had a better camera........ and photographic abilities.
This is my baby girl she was born 3 months prem, she is 5 here, and hasn't looked back, I was having trouble rolling the throttle off as she kept on trying to twist is to WOT
11 months today!!!
Congrats Philthy! Soon she'll be running around throwing tantrums while talking to herself for 2 hours before falling asleep Wouldn't have it any other way!
Suppose I should have posted this one 10 1/2 months ago...
