She doesn't ride by herself yet, but I think she will soon...

A picture I just got from someone who had taken it at a trials event in October of my daughter a few weeks before she turned 17. It was just too good not to post somewhere
Wife and daughter fit in my Ural sidecar; for now at least.

So many great stories and photos on here . . . figured it was about time I shared one. She's too young to ride . . . but not too young to dream
My kids are grown, boy 27, girl 21 granddaughter 3.5, they all were riding with me by 6-8 month around the pastures looking at calves and going around the hay fields, then both had there own bikes before they were 10..... for some reason these stories and pics of these girls riding just does something to my eyes, stuff keeps coming out of them...
I have a special place in my heart for daughters...
I found this in another thread and thought y'all might appreciate it.
This blurry pic is of a very talented young woman and her dad:
she gave her dads bike a spectacular paint job and I bet he is real proud of his little girl:
it's a nice little photo essay of her, see more here
Wearing her Mom's gear.
I just stumbled upon this. Boy am I jealous. My daughter is all grown now and expecting her first child. Sigh ....
My best to all you Dads with still young daughters!
Keep an eye on the time - it goes by *very* fast.
My 5 year old is asking for her own motorcycle. Of course she's asking for her own "real phone" and iPad right now too.
She still won't ride her pedal bicycle but she zooms all over the place on her balance bike. She seems serious about riding on the back of my bike so we'll be getting some gear this spring and see how things pan out.
I'm going to stall her on the phone and iPad though.
Our now-5-year-old starting bugging us for her own dirt bike when she was late in her second year. We told her, "Not until you can ride a bike on your own," thinking it would buy us a few years. She grabbed a wrench at three and demanded I take her training wheels off. A few weeks later she had the pedal bike mastered. We put her off as long as we can, and now we are out of excuses. Her bike will be here this spring. (Insert nervous-looking emoticon here.)
Went to take the bike out when I got home from work, My oldest (12) asked if she could go with me. I asked her if she realized it was close to 30 degrees out...she said Yep, and that she would just wear some of my gear...
We weren't out too long, just enough to hit some twisty back roads and a trail through a field...
When we got home she asked why we came back so soon...
Awesome! Watch out world here she comes!
Is it alright to post nieces' pics here as well?
Well heck yeah ! ! !
Daughters and I went out today to play in the snow. Since we don't have any good hills around for sledding we just used the KLX.
