    Today is my daughter's 10th birthday. She's become my best riding buddy this summer.

    On Saturday we took a ride to place the Massachusetts Tag-o-rama and today she got some new boots for her birthday.

    I found a real good deal on a Vee last weekend, just a few hours away in Kerrville. Mom was working, so I packed up the kids and took the trailer to get it. Son is 9 months now, daughter is 5 years. She's been riding with me locally since she was 2, taught her to fire up my old Honda at 10 months. She's hooked. I've been showing her photos of sidecars for a few years, so she's real excited about this big bike, getting to go on long trips with Daddy. She's real helpful for her age, kept her brother happy in the back seat the whole trip there and back. Now she keeps asking how long until I get the sidecar. If only the boy was as excited...

    Good picture.

    They grow up so fast. You should take the same picture, every month for the next couple of years, then once a year after that, on her birthday. Just to see how she grows into that helmet. :thumb

    The first post says "the true love of my life"

    and on that spirit, here's the one person that motivates everything I do;

    Cris Xochitl! Last July in Ajijic, Mex.

    That's my other kid Gabriel riding pillion, same day, taken by Cris;

    Still have an older boy, Miguel, he's harder to photograph, he's a filmographer and doesn't like to be in front of the camera.

    Just one of many great shots of my daughter. Always wanted a Rokon. Kept it a while and got it out of my system.

    Just turned 1 last week....It's been the best year of my life being a father, I can't believe she just turned 1 and to mom and dad's surprise she started walking on the night of her birthday. Took off across the living room floor and now she's non stop on the move. Loves hanging out with Daddy in the shop also.

    P.S. Her Baby Brother is due in November :clap !! [IMG]

    Look at those big brown eyes.....:raabia

    She can legally be a pillion passenger now.

    My little girl never liked the motorcycles so got into something more dangerous:

    [IMG]

    But now she's got her first apartment and actually moving out for real.

    [IMG]

    Her room hasn't been this empty since we moved in a long time ago and it reflects the hole in me. This hurts almost as much as leaving her at college the first time.

    Dads, get out and be active one on one with them. Keep the camera around too. This day came WAY too fast.

    We lately spent some time in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Italy</st1:place></st1:country-region> at „Nonna“’s place, letting the little shote at least spend a bit of time with her grandma, and on territory of a major part of her roots. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    There is that shop around the corner, selling all kind of kid’s gear. It is usually, after a stop at the celateria, the second place we visit when down there. <o:p></o:p>
    Immediately at the entrance this very neat little plastic ¼ original size Ducati Monster (with ignition-key, 12V power engine and 2 shift gearbox) caught my attention. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>

    Darn, has there been such cool stuff around in my childhood too?? If so, htf did they hide it from me?<o:p></o:p>
    Now, me myself, I’m actually not too much into Italian motorcycles but, hey, what’s not first choice for me, doesn’t necessarily have to be not Cooltouresse first choice too, nuh!? <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Well, see her opinion on that topic by yourself:<o:p></o:p>
    [IMG]<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Than I turned around and discovered this….<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p>[IMG] </o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    OK? Do we take that one, still if it does not have a motor (yet)? Well, I don’t have the clear and unmistakable YES on a picture, but, belief me; it was more than a unmistakable “Yes” at all!<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Than Cooltoursesse’s mom entered the place… and both of us awoke the very same moment.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Later on that day, we went to the playground, just for a bit of practicing and “how would it feel like”… <o:p></o:p>
