All is well (hopefully); they are on the way to our place and will with any luck soon be back on the road to Argentina. :-)

Anybody have an idea on where some good trails are east of Kenora?

I checked google earth and there looks to be a number of good roads. I have traveled the Gordon Lake Road and there were some trails off it.
You shouldn’t have any trouble getting dirty!
    Have fun.

Depends how far east of Kenora you are looking? North off Jones Road you can take Segise Lake Road east to Deer Lake Road and end up at highway 105 about 20 km south of Perrault Falls. There are numerous other roads off 105 & in that area that you could explore. Have fun!

Anyone planning a day trip this weekend? Sandilands? Pembina Valley? I would like to explore south of Seddon's - 5-7 hours?
My 800 has new HyperPro springs - they need to be tested

With some practice I can't see why not.

I seem to remember trying to sit on one of those (CBR600R) at a dealer and getting all tangled up with knees/elbows/etc.

Sadly I called the guy and it is still available.

I am going to look at it tomorrow. If it is in good shape I think there is $ to be made, but I typically have a hard time getting rid of bikes once I have them. Lord help me and my never ending storage issues

A spring time sale will work. Don’t register it and save yourself the sales tax.

The wee GS just got a new filter and 3 qts of Royal Purple 10W40. The oil is purple. I did not know that! Why no, that’s not MY oil leak. LOL

Been using RP in the GS for a couple years. It is not cheap but can be picked up at CTC on sale occasionally.

Had a fortuitous turn of events that resulted in unexpected riding time today...

I was supposed to be at the in laws for thanksgiving. Long story short that plan got squashed and I found myself with a few hours free this morning. I took advantage and hit a trail I’ve wanted to try during the fall when the leaves are changing... North Star trail and a few off shoots

Beat me to it - I was going to ask if he attempted that crossing....

Great photos. Looks like a nice ride.

I doesn't look like any tracks go in or out of the water. Pretty dam cold this time of year for dip!
Great photos though. Falls rides are special, the colours seem to make it well worth it.
