someone forked their dongles into a knot
Few more years and I may be looking for that kind of ride...don't think the wife will be too quick to jump into that side hack though
Thnx! She wasn't too keen on it at first, but came around to it. Gotta give her lots of credit - feels pretty quick sitting in that little capsule whizzing along inches off the ground. Has a bit of a jet fighter cockpit feel to it!
But she has no control...brave lady
I think that's the # 1 issue people have with riding in a sidecar - you feel more exposed and vulnerable as compared to in a car, or even sitting behind the rider on a mc. Gotta be (very) trusting that the rider/driver won't forget there's that new extension hanging off the side!
Hey everyone. In preparation of the new riding season, I made a little video..... Have a look if your interested. I Hope you see the humor in it.
Good stuff Tobi, hope you were able to get all the "salt water" off your bike, before you put it away !
I see you got the new pipe on there!

ps - is that approved footwear?
Any local ADVr's in need of or know of anyone looking for a dishwasher, in good running condition. $75 takes it !
Tothelake has provided us with all new shiny ones...thanks Neil!
Ooooooooo 200$ you say. I will talk to Chris and see if he wants to replace anything we have. I will get back to you. Would it be possible for you to PM me with pics? if not, that's fine.
I caught that your neighbour saying he saw me out and about riding the hack - too funny! Some familiar territory whizzing by in your vid (Roblin Blvd). Welcome to the 'hood
P.S. I may have chain lube when you need it!
Edit... and I really, really need to pop by to drop off those clutch parts!
Well that's something I didn't think of.... No hose around, and even my pails are still in storage from my move.... but it's supposed to warm up in a few days, so maybe I'll be able to go to the car wash thursday /friday.
Yeah I found that funny.. that's why I left that clip in the video. I live only a few blocks from the Roblin Park Community Centre. We should get together for a beer in the near future, and I can snag those parts from you then.
Yeah, that jet kit and pipe are nice additions to my farkle list.
That footwear.. those are the new SiDi "slip on boots"
Jeez, those last couple of rides I put my bike away wet and sloppy. Sure takes a toll - lots of little rust spots. Waaaay too much salt used on the roads here.
On a different note, am buying a 2008 KLR engine bottom end (complete) from a guy in AB. I already have spare cylinder (685 kit fitted) and head - will have pretty much everything to build up a 2nd engine!
Does that not sound like a Tech day in the making?...
where is it ?????? that is funny.....
As great a thing as Tech Days are, maybe not always the best venue for doing serious engine surgery (distraction!). Was thinking of puttering around in the basement assembling it on the bench (where I can take my time). I need a spare KLR frame for a test stand! ...have been slowly acquiring spare KLR parts ... anyone have an extra exhaust header?
last day on the ice yesterday....big fun, but now....let's go summer!
If anybody ever needs parts to get sandblasted, NEVER go to Winnipeg Sandblasting. The receptionist is extremely rude and the service is terrible.
