We had 75 ( more than last year) and had to shut down at 7:30 as we ran out!

We had 43. About the same as last year.

A lot less young kids in this neighbourhood now. When our kids were growing up we would consistently get a couple hundred

Zero trick or treaters in the country, but that's ok cuz I love Mars Bars! Glad you two goblins got out riding today! There is often slush and snow on Halloween so will have to consider this a warm fall, although we seemed to have missed the Indian Summer (not PC to say that I am sure)that I remember a kid!

Carl, you live at the end of a dark spooky lane on the other side of the tracks... There should have been a line up...

I've never done the gravel road 308 from East Braintree down south thru the Sandilands to Moose Lake. I see you can cut back towards Woodridge past Whitemouth Lake. What's that like for a loop?

Got a set of Advmonster M15 LED spotlights in today. Have one installed (it works). They look like very decent quality.

Sandilands maybe a dangerous place these days, black powder guns are pointed at anything that moves.

Maybe save that one for warmer weather, eh. Is a ride just out to Woodridge and back to Wpg too much? At least we'd get a taste of the Sandilands. Pretty cool riding across the Bedford ridge... and nice view from up there.

This pic was taken from up on the ridge:

Thats one thing I never did is the East Baintree run this year. Its a long day. I usually went through Vita, Spraque, West Hawk, and Seven Sisters and then angled home from there. By the time I get home its over 600 kms if I remember correctly. Its a good ride. A good ride for next summer. This time of the year if you stick to the paved roads you should be ok but off the beaten path you might get lead poisoning.

You said it Charlie... Black powder can hit a deer a 250 yards, that would leave a mark on the paint for sure.
I can imagine it would be a dusty ride, Mark96 and I stirred up a pretty good cloud on the way to Niverville on Thursday.

I would be curious to see how many pirates will be riding today... Standing room only at Tim's on Main Street.
