Anyone have the the SKF part number for our fork seals?
No, couldn't find one easily so I went a different route.
Likely SKF has a catalogue that lists seals dimensionally: 45x58x11 for the seal and 45x58.5x12 for the dust seal/wiper.
Part numbers for All Balls are 55-135 & 57-138.
I have the seal driver you can borrow if you need to, just send a PM.
If anyone is wondering the SKF number is
The kit is one seal and one wiper in one box. I was not able to buy them through an auto parts store that carried SKF seals, but a local bike susp shop stocked lots of them.
Stupid question time...
Are we talking about the F800GS USD forks, or the F658GS right-side-up forks?
F800GS USD's. Unknown to me, fork seals are somewhat standardized. I guess these seals fit most 45mm forks.
If you're looking for new seals, SKF's are the way to go. They apparently have some unique properties that signifigantly reduce stiction and are all the hype. Their website and some you tube vids back it up.
