    Bumping an old thread, but...

    +2!

I was just searching for another thread and I saw this one. I had a thread here about similar boots. I got them off Darren on eBay and I'm really impressed with him/his business, so I'm plugging him on here. Basically, a very happy fleaBay customer. He deserves it. Full story on my thread...

I didn't wear these too much over the summer, but have been wearing them since it cooled down in the fall....I hadn't really given them a good waterproof test....until today. I had about a 20 miles ride in a pretty heavy rain and my feet stayed completely dry.

I am trying to order a pair of the Forma Brown Adventure boots from Aus poc listed above. Do these boots run true to size. I just sent a pair of Garne Oilers back in size 46 Euro to a US dealer because they were way too big. I have a 10 1/2 inch foot.

Any input on these boots would be welcomed.

    Thanks.

I'm attaching a EUR size conversion chart for refference. It should be pretty close to the Forma sizing. My opinion/experience is to error on the next whole size if your in the middle.

Go at least one, probably two sizes up. I went up one, they fit now, but took a while to break in. Two up would probably be better (I could wear thicker socks). The sizing was accurate, I checked by measuring, but you need more room in a relatively stiff boot.

Hey Guys thanks for the feed back. I am waiting for Brain at Atomic-Moto to see about bring some of these into the country. If that does not work I have a new friend in Oz that said He would help me out.

I have sent several emails to Forma and the Oz retailer to no avail.

The ebay poc was out of my size.

Thanks again and I will let you know how it turns out.

Just saw this thread in new posts, oddly enough I started it haha.
To sum up my experience with the forma atv...
Very comfortable boot.. waterproof for a while. BUT
When I had to ride for hours in the rain they were not waterproof even when treated. I ended up selling them in the flea market and buying a pair of tcx gor-tex.

I pulled the trigger last week and have to say they are awesome. so comfy and stiff (rough) enough for what I do. I really appreciate them and I'm happy to use them this winter.

Do these boots come in sizes like 6? We wear a 6 in Alpinestars.
