    Hello Flatistanahs!

I'm interested in a bike for sale listed in the flea market located in Ft. Lauderdale. My DRZ was stolen in August and I've been looking for about 6 months for an '06 Husky TE610 as "replacement" (nothing will ever truly replace Elsa). I've had several nice phone conversations with the owner, who's located in Key West. He's not really into the computer or smartphone thing, and said he'd be happy to meet up at his storage place in Ft. Lauderdale in the next week or two if I could find someone willing.

I'm not too worried about mechanical issues with the bike (it only has 2k and the owner sounds very meticulous); I'm more interested in what the hell does it look like (and does it even exist :)

I have a good feeling about this bike and would do a fly-n-ride to get it to Rhode Island. I wouldn't tell my mom what I'm doing until I show up on her doorstep in Jersey.

Can anyone help a girl out? If it pans out and I come on down, I'd be happy to bring whatever New England delicacies you'd like. Please send a PM if you can help. I'd be most appreciative!

PM sent, not sure if I could help with my schedule, but I'm close enough.

Hello to all the wonderful southern Floridians...

I cannot THANK YOU enough for all the folks who offered to go have a look. Payment is on its way, and I'll be flying down at the end of May to ride my new-to-me IKEA inspired bike back to little Rhody. I'm soooooooooo excited!

Again, a huge thank you to all who offered to help, and to jahfloats for schlepping over to ride the bike and take pics. You guys are awesome. If you ever make it to Rhode Island (who does?), you've got a place to stay and a beer...
