Found in remote area of Cascade Pass Idaho area; PM to Id contents; Safely in Seattle
Thought I'd give this a bump. Contents of bag is extensive collection of must have items that someone is really bound to miss. Would like to find the rightful owner
Craigslist add maybe?
Found a nieghbors dog one time and brought him to his home, they had taken him to a nearby ranch to work him and that's where he was supposed to be!
Try contacting DNR and local police for the area
power of adv. Owner PM'ed me and I'll send it this week. Had tools ,maps. tire inflator, tubes etc
Awesome, nice job!
great job, good to see honest people.
Cool job. You did your part, now let us do ours and razz the Advrider who didn't notice his pannier was missing . Who wuz it?
Because none of us would ever have this happen. I think the lesson here is, never be the last guy on a group ride, unless you carry everything in a backpack, since you'll definitely know when that falls off
He noticed and posted in the Palouse thread in case someone in the area came across it:
He's a nice guy with a lot of MT/ID knowledge if you ever need it. I'm glad he is getting it back.
The power of ADV rules.
Thanks for posting this up, and eventually getting it back to it's owner . . . . . .
ADV - can-do at its best . . . . .
Tip: Put your name and address on the outside (tire) side of the pannier, makes it a lot easier for the finder to contact the loser. That's how I got my lost pannier back
Looks like different gear and loss location for Wansfel:
I once had a borrowed very expensive sleeping bag work its way out of my gear , sucks to get to buy a very good sleeping bag that way and had to buy another one in Pincher Creek, Alberta too.
