so sorry your bike is pointing the wrong way.
I'll let go this time.
Funny you should mention that. I did almost park the other way but for some reason traffic was unusually busy on that road and it was darker than the pic implies. Even parked the "right" way I felt like I was gonna get run right off the edge.
Foxfire is holding all the wisco games for the duration of the snow season apparently. All but the MadTown.
I had the Mad tag in my sights that day too, but playtime with the boy took precedence.
Had to get out and test some new cold weather gear.
New crappy pic:
The picture was supposed to be of the plant on the right, but I couldn't find a spot to take a picture that could get the whole complex and bike. This is a plant where they roast malt for the brewing industry.
Here is a recipe to add to your collections
Nice, that's the library in the foreground
Toured that a few times....
If the weather stays like this, I'm going north to get this this week.
OK. Whos gonna wash the salt off of my bike now????
40 mins each way. Not bad but I wish that I had HippoHands or their =
People look at me like I'm nuts, which I am.
This was recently in the news... And it's the new target. Thad Gawd for archived photo allowance. Good Idea BENRON.
Target acquired but I'm not as adventurous as keeny to get it this week. Good job man!!!
If the Busch Malt Plant wasn't there, the view at the end of the main street into downtown Manitowoc would be Lake Michigan. A surreal oddity, the tower exuded the warm aroma of roasting barley and the roar of its machinery lent an industrial ambiance to downtown. A work of "hand painted pop", the giant bottle and two cans of Budweiser ("3 Buds short of a 6-pack" wrote Jeff Felshman in the Chicago Reader in 1992) depicted were so much a part of the landscape that the natives didn't see it. An oddity of the town, it appeared on postcards sold at drugstores and shops until recently when corporate shufflings and alcohol awareness made it perhaps too complex an image to stock at the Walgreens. Despite being covered with an updated vinyl photographic mural about a decade ago, it remains a Manitowoc icon obliterated in 2012 due to a City Ordinance according to an article in the Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter published November 7, 2012.
Come on! youse guys are taking too long! Go get this thing!!!
Bump to remind myself to go get it this coming weekend. I seen a 41 for degrees on Friday. Fingers crossed!!!
Grip heaters work great!
with the up to date Budweiser mural.
Different bike (and day) though.
Just may ride that way tomorrow.
Glad you fixed your grippie thingies
Too easy for me. When I roll the bike out to the street, I almost halfway there. I'll let someone else grab it.
I'll be going right past there tomorrow. Too bad I won't be on the bike.
