. Rad's man.
Was a good night, was a good time. It was fun putting some faces to names last night. Bmore Bandit thanx for the heads up about this happening...
RevChris is starting a Motorcycle Movie Night at Rocket to Venus. The first movie,"I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle" at 9pm on Sunday 12/16.
Looks like it could be fun. I wonder about getting there and parking, since that's right off of 34th St., where everybody does their houses up for Festivus, and then the rest of Bmore shows up to gawk.
Motorcycle=Sidewalk, it's Hampden, pedestrians are in the street :eek1. R2V has a really wide walk in the front where they put cafe tables during warmer times.
Plus R2V has some amazeballs wings.
They do and their sliders are darn yummy too :dg
Sooooo sunday then
Hey maybe R2V could be our new Baltimore Beard & Moustache location.
I am indeed, Thanks, Dynamick.
Hopefully this will be the first of many, as I've got a bunch of things I'd like to show, from bike-sploitation movies to moto travel documentaries. I'm aiming for once a month, so as not to overtax my attention span.
Anyways, I'll post future details here: www.facebook.com/MotorcycleMovieNight, if anyone is interested.
Reedg01-- That's a good question about parking, and one I hadn't thought of (Imma walk there, so as to guiltlessly appreciate the delicious Natty Bohs I plan on drinking). Honestly, it might be tight, and you may have to filter through some 34th Street gawkers on the way there. RTV put up a big awning/tent thing out front, which makes parking on the sidewalk more difficult, and there will probably be some of Baltimore's finest nearby, directing traffic, who may or may not appreciate creative parking solutions. Ultimately, it'll be catch as catch can, but all I can promise is that Things will be different after Baltimore elects me King of Parking.
Hi Chris I hope you have a great turnout for the movie night.
Hear anything from Noah?
I totally quizzed him on that as well.
Yeah, I saw Noah last weekend. He seems to be doing well. I think something was wrong with his vstrom, not sure if that's still the case.
Jax, This is for you.
Just to let y'all know, this is a thing that is happening tonight and next Saturday-- Timonium indoor flat track races.
Thanks for that. We went up in August for the outdoor series and it was a hoot.
Andy Nelson's and racin'
Yes RevChris, Thanx but tonight I'm playing with fire
Have fun at the races... Take your earplugs.
Dynamick--Thanks for the water trough. It was incredibly generous of you!
However, I think the story of how the 100 gallon water trough wronged you is worth a few electrons. Apparently you thought you should have a nice backyard oasis complete with a fish/koi pond. You buried the water trough for a long 6 years so it was ground level.
For the next 5.5 years, a night heron would visit you regularly. Not only did he go "fishing" in your trough, but he also took a big birdie sized bath. At some point between fishing and bathing, he would knock over the recirculating pump then leave. For the next 6+ hours while you were away from your castle, the pump would now "recirculate" the 100 gallons into your yard. I guess that is only fun a half dozen times or so to find a self-inflicted flood at your house!
With the marsh gone, I might have less snakes this spring.
I came across a night heron one night. Thought he was a penguin. I may have been drinking.
Thanks for the tiger Mickey.
