Anyone headed on the York adventure from Southern points, and want to meet and rideup to the Exxon together?
If not, I'll see ya all there.
I'm Charles Village if you wanna stop in on the way up. 26th & Calvert, look for a big blue Concours. Leaving my place at 3:30.
Not at work today, so of the "In" folks, I might be the farthest north. Glen, I got you beat by a half mile?
Dunno, I can't remember your starting location. I know where you work, and you mentioned a family member not too far from my abode, but the gray hair has diminished my overall memory capacity.
See you in a short while, and you can remind me.
Out the door! Pack your parasails (windy out there today) & your rainsuits, intermittent showers predicted tonight. See y'all at the Exxon.
You fellas enjoy yourselves.
Too bad you won't have a little more daylight. Susquehannock State Park is great riding and sorta on the way there.
Great name...Parasails and Snorkels for the inaugural PA RTE
How about an inmate diner line-up shot?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Rushed home after work at 3:30 but had no time to change, get on the bike and join you-all by 4. <o></o>
Hope you had a great time? I REALLY want to join you all the next RTE.<o></o>
I have no set schedule to my work, it is determined by designers and clients, that is why I never commit to any of these events. <o></o>
One day the stars will align. <o></o>
Alright, there are several very amusing stories, some of which I was typing up and then, well I hit the refresh button and they all went away. I ain't typing them up again.
Four of us rode up from the Exxon to the Embers, but only three came back.
Well that's a little overdramatic, if absolutely true, but that's because CDCSlim rode down to the starting point from York and after dinner he just finished out his evening in the 717.
Here are the other three inmates just after the main course was served. Will (Chissenhallw) giving the ADV salute, Jim (CDCSlim) with the sly smile on his face, and Steve, pointing at the full rack of ribs, some of which rode back to Baltimore with him when his tummy got fulled up.
We rode, we ate, we rode back, it was cold (but not wet) and we hope to do it again.
Mick, join us next time?
