    LMAO
    :rofl

Secondary accidents are common during recovery. One of our crews burned out an airliner years ago when picking it up off a runway. Turns out that an engine had been hiding in a fuel tank, so plenty of fuel and sparks when starting to move the big plane on the concrete.

I was doing a turboprop job in Ireland two(?) years ago and after this photo we were moving it on pavement. It was windy as hell on the south coast of Ireland - something like 30-35 kts when we were trying to manhandle this big kite into a certain spot.

(Me with no helmet in blue jacket.)

One of the local crane guys got his fingers between a prop blade and the pavement a few feet away from me. The prop tips stayed attached; a couple of his tips didn't. :huh

    Yup, shit happens.

Introduced myself in the South MD forum having not know about this one. Good evening everyone. The name's Doug; I am new to the Maryland ADV scene and just wanted to see if there are any rides that I "HAVE" to do before I leave to move to Miami in mid December. I'm living in Baltimore at the moment but I'm (most recently) from California and did a lot of riding out there between SF and SD. I'm on a 2012 Tiger XC and want to put some more miles on it on my days off. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks. The only thing I'm not looking for is hardcore single track just because its not fun on a near 500lb bike. Let me know what you've got, much appreciated.

    Hi Doug :wave
Sounds like you are moving south just in time:lol3

The best gravel for a day ride out of Bmore is Michaux State Forest in sou central PA. Less than 6o clicks to get there. 100s of miles of gravel to enjoy.
here is my thread about the place..

there are maps on the front page and links to GPS files from TowPro.
If you get up there now, there may be some leaves left.
