Bruce and I headed up there yesterday and had a look around. Taking the 18 up from Swede Haven Road, we got to some snow at 6 miles, but carried on through it.

Shortly after, we hit this at 7.3 miles, 2400 ft and had to turn around

No go, so we headed around to 17 via Finney Creek.

We got about 12 miles up, to around 1700ft and saw no snow.

Beautiful day to be out and about with your hound at your side.

Unfortunately, we were out of time, so headed back before we got to the snow line.

Took another ride up 17 from the same side today, and only got a couple of miles further than Bruce and I managed. Right at the junction with the 18, there was snow going in both directions. Melting fast in the mid seventy degree heat, though!

WW, go back to page 34 and look about down about 2/3 the way till you see Ride FS 17 by Tom Edison. It is from our runs at 17~18 last spring. Work your way forward and read Toms' post and you can see how far we made it on different rides. About 2700' on May 14th.

Tom,[Lorne:ear] and I will be hitting Illabot in the next week or so.:D We got stopped by snow and downed trees last week. Tom the crumy is together.:clap

Rode through the last snow drift on 17 today - @ Cumberland Gap. 18 is still blocked by snow at Siegelson, but it should be gone soon.

......as well as on Mt Josephine and in the middle of the clearcut you see in this picture. All in a day. It was a good First ever dual sport ride for a dude in leather with skulls on the bandana.

Sirloynz picture was taken at the 1840 intersection on 18. The tracks on Ippons
left were made by Loren when we went through. It will be a while for Segelsen.
Supposed to rain a bunch thursday, that will help.:D
