Mechanic's special in Baltimore area.
If I wasn't saving for a wedding I would probably go look at it, and try to get him down a little bit. $5995 seems high for something that needs engine work, but it could be something really simple. I'm guessing the carbs would need rebuilt being a 2006 with only 285 km.
I have a "Lowell Neff design" subframe for sale. I had it mounted on my 92' R100GSPD frame and connected to a Ural chair. This is an exceeding sturdy subframe. It was setup for two straight stuts (upper mounts) and two ball/collet mounts (lower mounts). The two ball/collet mounts are included with the subframe and one frame strap clamp with eye bolt. I can email pictures at your request. $450.00 and buyer pays shipping costs. Thank-you.

No affiliation. Located in Raleigh, NC. It seems Claude my have a little info on this one. It looks like a good deal, and I've always loved the Motorvation.

2001 Kawasaki W650 with 2008 Motorvation Spyder sidecar. The bike has a little over 18,000 miles on it, the car about 1,500. Both have always been garaged. Both are in outstanding condition. I have a Corbin seat, Givi saddlebags, mounting hardware and rack for the bike. I also have the factory 'low' handle bar kit with the appropriate cables. The suspension has been beefed up for sidecar duty and the final drive geared for more torque (larger rear sprocket). The sidecar was painted to color match the bike by Motorvation. The sidecar is mounted to the bike using a subframe that was built and installed by Claude Stanley up in PA (C Stanley Motorsports). Everything works as it should. I am selling because the rig is under utilized. I have found that I prefer two wheels to three. The bike and sidecar are currently not attached to each other. The sidecar alone is for sale for those interested. The bike alone is not for sale. The rig is avialable for $6,900. The sidecar, $2,900. Call 919-847-2447 before 8 pm, ask for Dan. I do not have access to e-mail on weekends.
2 Velorex sidecars for $1500 (Staunton, VA)
Looks like a goodie...........!!!
Anybody want a K1100LT with a leading link and car tires at all three corners with a EZS sidecar?
There's a BMW dealer in Oregon would be glad to take your money--
What a nice set-up! Very "Euro". It's not getting given away for sure, but someone is going to get a pretty slick machine.
Hey, FreeFlow, did you buy it?
I've now seen an ad with the same Harley pic pop up a couple of other places. It appears to be a email collecting scam.
Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
I emailed that guy just before I linked it here. It's a legitimate ad. The guy said he owns 2 outfits and the one has mostly been sitting so he wanted to clear his garage out....
That ad is getting old by now. I suspect it's out of date. Email the guy - he answered my email.....
I've heard springer front ends are hard steering with a car attached ..... I don't need another problematic project or I'd snatch it up myself at that price.
Freeflow is going to ride it back for me. Marc the guy that owns it should have the check by now and I will be relocating it next week Saturday to one of Freeflows friends in Daytona when I go down to Disney with the family. Tbone from this site was nice enough to go check it out for me in advance and take some more pictures for me. Here are the pictures Tbone took. It runs good but the chrome and other things are kind of rough.
I stand corrected. I had emailed him along with a couple of guys over at The Horse BC, and none of us got a response. Then a couple other ads surfaced with the same info, so we figured something was fishy. Good luck bringing it home, you got a deal!
I see lots of scammers on CL using legitimate ads they have stolen from an original poster. Usual reply is bike is in a warehouse in (your major city), send check to XXX company and we will deliver bike to you. Usual miss spelled words and grammatical errors. Refund if you are not satisfied..... Yeah Right!
I keep a BS email account for contacting the "too good to be true" ads on the off chance one might be real.
I new that particular ad was good. However, RidingDonkeys is correct to be "aware." Scammers are everywhere.
WillNeverGrowUp ... The pictures came out good. Yep, it's got some rough spots but still looks like a great deal. There was one I saw for sale in Georgia not long ago for near three times that price, it was older and had many more miles. Yours looks like a great deal, that needs some elbow grease. Maybe the Georgia outfit had gold weights in the sidecar...
It'll buff right out I hope you get out and enjoy that thing
Good luck, Dave
Ohh, those are the ones that I am supposed to be buying in the morning, if she didn't already sell them. She said she'd hold them for me until the bank opened on Monday (wanted cash instead of a check), but ya never know!
I'm probably only going to buy the complete sidecar. The other one has no frame or wheel, just a hacked up tub and a fender. Not worth 500 bux, imo. :3
I guess if she has already sold it to someone, though, that's an excuse to make my own... :3

Dead link, does that mean its sold?
Nope, means I didn't read the rules in a while and got my add nuked for referencing CL and then for having the price in the title (seems weird to not allow that but oh well).
Anyway still for sale and I think I fixed the add (so it won't get moderated) and updated the link in my original post to this thread -too early for a bump.
Thanx for tipping me to the breakdown.
