I've got a "tech" in the shop that could burn the whole thing to the ground doing that.

The W650 is a sweet bike. I've had two over the years and they were trouble free. That rig does look nice. It is an auction starting at $5499.

"2000 Kawasaki W650 with a Velorex 562 sidecar. The rig was professionally built by Bob Wark. It's fully sorted out. Runs flawlessly and handles like a dream (for a sidecar!). Very easy to ride. The idea was to keep it light and sporty. "

I've seen that rig for sale previously, but don't recall the price. His asking price seems quite reasonable to me considering people are asking $4500-5500 just for a W650 alone (albeit with a few less miles).

How do you suppose it would do as a sidecar tug?

Yeah, I did some more searching out of curiosity after my original post and saw that they all sell (or at least attempting to) in that price range. I'd have to factor in shipping costs as well, because I just can't make an 800+ mile fly & ride work at this point. :-)

It should do fine but my W650s did not have a sidecar on them so I really don't know. Easy to change the sprocket to get the gearing you want. Again remember this is an auction on Ebay and that $5499 is the starting price. I think usually people don't go to sell on Ebay auction until they have tried other ways of free selling like CL or here.
I sold my W650s for about $3900 each and they were nice. Some people ask unrealistic prices for them.

Little bit concerned about this one. In July it was being sold by a different seller in a different location. Also, the July auction had full-sized pics and this one has only lousy thumbnails. Possibly a scam listing? Not sure. The July seller might possibly be a broker (based on his feedback.) But the feedback for the new seller tends to support my scam fears. However, he gives his e-mail and phone number, which a scammer normally wouldn't do. Hmmmmm.

I hadn't really noticed but there's a pretty decent chance your correct the brokers called me over and over when I was trying to sell big blue, I took one call and the guy was busy trying to assure me he could easily sell a BMW powered sidecar rig. :lol3

In the auction he notes the following... "Bike is currently in Columbia Station Ohio, but may be in McHenry IL on 10/07 only."

I thought I'd remembered seeing that bike on a local Craigslist listing for a while. I'm in central IL myself. So perhaps he moved? Not sure how that would cause him to have crappy pictures all of a sudden...

Just heard from the July seller. He sold the rig in July. Said a guy from Ohio bought it. So, I guess all is legit -- except the new seller doesn't know how to upload pictures. :confused I tried contacting the new guy but eBay refused to deliver my message ("for policy reasons") whatever that means.

Who buys bent / dented rims and who would pay shipping on junk tires ?

    Description:
This is a good used set of sidecar wheels removed from a freedom sidecars set up on a 2008 BMW R1200 GS. A couple of the rims have dents, and 2 of the tires are junk.

Those Kozi's are pretty small and light duty.

As for the wheels it looks like bent lips is all, pretty easy to beat them straight if they aren't mangled too bad.

I reckon Claude gets pretty good money for them new.

I kinda remember them being listed in the past.

I just post them Ron but alloy wheel straightening is everywhere ! The welding shop I hung out at we used to weld them up when they crack during the process.

Those are 80 series radials on there. They have 5" sidewalls. How the hell did they get that banged up??? Happens to front rims, sure, but what was this guy doing to do that kind of damage to a pusher or a sidecar rim?
