I've got fuel leaking from My 1978 GS550. The fuel seems to be comming from the overflow hose running to the airbox. At first I suspected a stuck float, but when I left a can under the bike over the weekend I was left with quite a bit of fuel that had spilled, and it seemed to still be dripping. Shouldn't the petcock have cut off the flow of fuel so that only what was in the bowls could leak out? Why is gas getting in the airbox and then leaking out? It seems to be running way too well to have a stuck float. Any opinions out there?
