Fuel Octanes - Little Guidance Please

    IIRC 52 mpg at around 16,000 feet on my bike, 16-42, 2 into 1, stock map. Tahoacer gets around 52 mpg at 6000' with his custom map. That would be pretty nice. According to him the F/A ratio is way too rich in the mid revs with the stock map, and curiously gets too lean at WOT. Maybe something to do with Euro emission standards, not sure though.

    If you think the Pemex is cheating you with Magna in the Premium storage tanks, just take a good whiff of what is going in the tank.
    Premium at all Pemex locales has a very distinct smell. Once you actually get a good whiff of it, you'll know if you are getting Premium or Magna, for sure.
    Many Pemex locales have stopped stocking Premium and offer only the green handled Magna because of the constant scheduled price increases in gas here. People just aren't paying the extra money. Don't count on many Pemex locales on secondary roads or in rural areas to have any Premium on hand.
