I did a search and I didn't come up with anything and I think I am missing something. When I make a route in Furkot I understand it doesn't follow the road exactly because it is cutting down on shaping points. When I export it into my Garmin Zumo 396 I still get those straight lines even after it recalculates. I can load the route into Basecamp and it will still keep that straight line through a curvy section of road and I can't seem to change it. I have tried converting it to a track and then back to a route but no change. I want it to follow the road because if I just take the GPX file from Furkot to my GPS, all of the time, distance and turning directions don't work or give me garbage (100 mile trip shows up as being 7500 miles) I can still follow the line and I can interpolate when there is an S in the road and there is just a line right though the middle where to go. I was really hoping to not have to design a route in Furkot to have to rebuild it in Basecamp to get it work correctly. I thought the recalculation in Basecamp would have fixed it but no such luck. Why can't the GPS or Basecamp fill in the gaps?
