After seeing that fire that went through the garage where some guy was trying to steal some gas I got to thinking about fire suppression systems. Regardless what it costs I think it would be worth it. I have a 1938 Pontiac I have had for 48 years, yes, 48, along with the six Triumphs, the BSA, the BMW and the rest, it would kill me to loose any of that.

The problem with heated barns is they attract stuff. Finally the kids moved on and so did I. Downtown:

Of course that left me renting a 10x30 unit 20 miles out of town to store our crap. I sold off trailers and even a few motorcycles. But I acquired some too.

After riding western tracks acquired on this site, I finally bought a little place with a nice back yard:

Looking forward to playing cowboy, I bought a truck and a hat to go with it. I loaded it up with some scoots and headed west at the ebb of a blizzard last Jan 6.

The first thing I did was redo my little garage. Just enough stuff to store my gear, tools enough for basic maintenance, and a TIRE STAND!!! so I could stand up and spoon my own dual sport tires in comfort. So far so good.

busa1300...what a fantastic collection for bikes and two strokes no less....I am just having a new garage built and cannot wait to find a few of the bikes I salivated over when I was younger. Honda NS400, RD / RZ 350, and a few more.... that RS 250 is really beautiful... thanks again for posting and showing us such a nice bunch of machines. Grant

The Ninja gets lots of space with the SUV out for an extended service.

I've got to say, I'm envious of all these huge garage spaces you've got.

If I had your vehicles all under one roof, I'd have the fire suppression system. Sounds like a wise buy.

The garage part is taking its shape as the new house is nearing completion...going to be my fifth garage within the last four years, the sixth to come later this year:
