The red squares are anchored oil tankers waiting to come in. The red ship I ones are inbound oil tankers underway for Bayonne. There will be dozens more coming.

stunned by what i've seen of the state on tv...its really sad...glad you all are alright...my family is safe and sound on SI. Was gonna be travellin to Long Island this week to pick up a vintage XS1100 but ofc now thats on hold for a few more weeks...just might still make it up for Thanksgiving and kill 2 birds with one stone...so to say...but we'll have to see how soon your infrastructure returns to a functioning state...:norton

Cars were lined up for fuel a mile long at the rest stops on the NJTP. Working in Union NJ today and it was gas armageddon up their. Literally hundreds of people standing in line with their gas cans, total gridlock from cars waiting in line. Same story all the way back to Trenton. Most stations are closed or out of fuel. Was lucky to find the one I frequent didn't have too long a line but was down to premium fuel only. Went past a hour later and they are closed. 1/2 dozen stations within a mile of my house are all closed or out of gas.

Better late than never, but a few shots from the Freemansburg Hillclimb to get our minds off the mess outside.

No ships allowed to off load at KM Perth Amboy fire pumps were down. I just got in I have 1 running and will have the other up tomorrow afternoon.
Some of the sights I have seen over the last 2 days are unreal. I saw 2 of those big tanks off the bases and 1 smaller tank leaned over. Sorry no pics today.

Sorry to barge in, but, any of you guys have any idea how Freehold faired? I haven't been able to get in touch with my mom. I know her neighbors would help her out with anything she needed, but, I'd still like to know she's OK.

    Thanks

The local Honda dealer near me in South Jersey received a trailer full of Honda generators on Sunday - something like 500.
    They have sold @ half.

If someone needs a generator let me know.
I'd be happy to get one or more and bring them north to anyone in need.

If there is anything I can do to help you folks out that are in distress send me a note or give me a ring.

Hi Andy yea I see no tankers in berth anywhere in the port. Just two anchored in Stapleton and the rest still outside at Ambrose. The CG is still surveying the bottom trying to locate Pepes lost containers. They can't risk us striking one with a ship. A real mess to be sure

Problem is that nobody knows which or how many containers are missing, the servers were in the first floor and they got six feet of water going thru them. :eek1

My roommate works in Robbinsville, and there is still no power there. There are many places throughout mercer county that still don't have power, but there was not any flooding that I was aware of.

Thanks... this unreliable source said Robbinsville got hit hard and the reason i would doubt that is because this person is a pathological liar...a textbook case... lives in his own little made up world...but given the severity of Sandy...I just need to know...was there alot of downed trees and wind damage?
