Well that was timely! I stand corrected.
OK, I'm taking it from the previous couple of posts that Bikehigh is OK with Doc posting a new tag now that he's had his KTM repaired and is back on the road.
Have fun out there
Oh, please. Of course I'm OK with it. The angle of the sun would have made it a pretty horrid shot half an hour before I took my horrid shot, and that's a legitimate enough reason for getting the grab from the wrong side.
Thanks, Charles. You are a gentleman and a scholar!
Clue for new tag:
It's on an old turnpike road....
What? You get a BMW and start dealing KTM bs? Is it part of the BMW owner's manual?
Sorry about the delay. I could have posted right away, but it would have been with a file photo. I took this one three days ago to use as a tag, but then found something better:
Isn't the file photo rule silly, when you take a tag shot for future use?
So, I had to get Walter to stop on his ride so I could photograph the Barn Quilt again.
By the way, the town the tag is in would be the place that Bill Murray would dock his boat....
Well trained he is.......
Nothing to be sorry about, and no it's not a silly rule.
OK, back to watching the Flyers game!
Is that an actual "barn" or work shed ?

I don't have any brand loyalty or prejudices, I haven't had anything long enough. For all I know he was using a KTM because his BMW wouldn't start on a chilly morning. It's all a learning process for me, I'll go easy on the badinage in future.
Had to throw this post in here, for posterity...
So my girlfriend is pretty set on the Bonneville (NOTE: If anyone knows of a used one, let me know...seriously.).
However, I sent her an email with links to all the major motorcycle brands I could think of for her to peruse and see what styles she likes, etc. etc.
As she's looking, she goes...and I quote, "What is this KTM junk?" :loll
< / twitter>
Jason, she is a keeper!
with all my respect to the KTM crowd!
You probably sent her a link to the wrong picture. Try this...
Unruley, rude and rowdey, unpolished, 7-Eleven/dirty gas station coffee drinking KTM riding hucksters.
Eat it Bavaria!
who took that pic of you wheelin by doc on the dakar???
So, who is going to post the second part when the GS does the wheelie for 8 miles uh! :loll
It wasn't a wheelie-- it was a skiey.
And it wasn't for 8 miles-- it was only a couple hundred feet as the GS hurtled off a cliff trying to make the turn the 950 was making.
