    But it's a rather common mailbox style, so make sure that anchor-looking thing in the background is in your tag picture.

    A close-up of it just to make sure you know which one I'm talking about

    It's in a ritzy town/borough (Census Bureau's 2006-2010 American Community Survey showed that (in 2010 inflation-adjusted dollars) median household income was $119,787 and the median family income was $155,139) which the Road name shares, and it also has two route numbers. and the odd thing is that if you double the first digit/number, you get the 2nd digit of the state route in one of them and the second number of the county route number.

    I have a giveaway mailbox related clue for the slow kids if needed.:lol3

    Agreed that its not the worse part of town, but make a few wrong turns and you're in trouble. I grew up in the Ironbound and went to school at NJIT. I still remember at freshman orientation being told to slow down at red lights and keep on going if around campus at night. luckily never had any issues the time I was there.

    Thanks for the confirmation. Turned out to be more interesting then I thought. I recognized it immediately, of course, since I go that way all the time. But tracking it down by the "clues" was challenging, since there are 4 different Mendham Roads in Mendham township. To actually ride around and look at all the mailboxes would have been miles of wandering....
    How's that for a little wine with your cheeze, commander? :imaposer

    Clue (for the puzzlers);
    The land the lake is on was once owned by the fellow who had the best view of Philadelphia for all the years I was in Philly....
    "members of the Society of Friends (including William Penn) were involved in the development of East Jersey"
