I have an old verion of garmin city navigator nt (2013) and see that there is a 2018 version out now. What changes or upgrades were made between the two versions?
Would it be worth while to update or should I just stick w/ the old version?

    Thanks Dan

In my experience, the big changes are in the POI information. Lots of new or updated stores, banks, gas stations, all that kind of data. The roads don't change all that much except in areas where there is a lot of new construction.

I have 2018.3 in my system. If you would like to compare a particular area I would be happy to post a screen shot.

To me the biggest change is in the speed ratings of minor roads starting after 2015.4 (I found it on 2016.1)

They "tried" to make it better by making them "more correct", but screwed it up in many areas.
I have found many minor & non-existent roads with speed ratings in the 40 mph ranges.

Ever since that change I have found routing through many rural areas has been a crap shoot.
You always had some routing on non-existant roads, but it got to where that almost seemed like the default.
I have brought this up with Garmin several times over the past few updates but its not got much better.

FWIW I use the 2015.4's maps and probably would trust the 2013/2014's more than the latest.
