Just been trying to find information about this new Garmin...
    I have a 276c and can only get a 512meg card for $A299......:huh
620 uses standard SD cards and they are cheap.
I did a search here and turned up empty handed, so I would appreciate any opinions or real info about this unit.
Not convinced about the touch screen thing for off-road bike stuff but I am usually wrong :lol3
I am very happy with my 276c, I use it in my car, truck and on my bike (with city navigator). I want to use some more maps like OZTopo and Shonky but have that small expensive memory card thing kicking my butt.
I would like to load up a few map sets and switch between them depending on what type of mission I am doing at the time.
Godsilla does this on his GPSmap 60 csx, that is the smart way to go in my opinion.

    GodSilla I did that.

    Hi GMan. :wave

They are all a bit light but the last one has some better specs. The comparison should be against the current unit you have, a GPS 60 and the new unit. Tracks, their logs, how many, internal, logging to SD card, all that sort of stuff, buit a quick search didn't turn anything up. Ya could try the main GPS forum, the yanks seem to know everything 6 months before we do. Good hunting.

The vehicle side is not as technical as a GPSmap 276C or even a zumo.

It is an onroad/marine combo unit when some of us where hoping it would be a onroad/offroad/marine unit.

Still time yet, Garmin could morph it into a GPSmap 276C replacement.
They made a lot of changes to the zumo.
Right now it isn't a replacement for the 276C
