I have a garmin zumo 450 that has a bad screen and outdated maps, so i goes to garmins site to get info about getting it refurbished and they say that my 450 unit is no longer supported.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so was there a way to get garmin to refurb?
I really am not interested in replacing the screen myself because the maps are still outdated.

    Thanks in advance!!!

You don't need a refurb to update maps. You can get a one time update for $30 until Sept 15 using the code Fall13 on the Garmin site, or Lifetime Map Updates for $20 off, but it probably doesn't make sense to get a LMU for an end of life gps like that.

And there are other places to have the screen replaced.
