GatosBros website is up-and-running and we've got parts in-stock, ready to ship. Working on pictures/videos. Having a little bit trouble with lighting, the colors look a lot better in real life and the parts are all the same shade of orange.

Finally got some more pictures of the universal steering stabilizer mount. Can you guys see how the width and offset are adjusted? The flat-sided cams on the bottom determine the offset, which is adjustable in 1mm increments, from 5-20mm. The round cams on top control the width, which is infinitely adjustable, from 94-106mm. Patents Pending.

What's the absolute minimum height (mm please :evil ) you add? I've got rox risers and fat bars and have next to no extra length on my wires and cables left but do want a damper. Scott's suggested the over the bar types, but I really prefer the under version.

KTM is 23mm and universal is 24mm. An underbar stabilizer mount could/should replace those risers though.

What would you want to get for a universal damper perch?

Lots of frivolous patents out there, and this would NOT be one of them. The double cam system is simply genius, Jesse. :thumb

It's been quite some time since you first explained them to me. Glad to see them hitting the market. Very nice stuff.

Sorry, are you asking about the universal stabilizer mount, or the handlebar perches? The stabilizer mount is $150, and we haven't set a price for the perches yet.

Thanks Dave. Yeah, it's been a long time (almost 4yrs). Filing all these patents is ridiculously expensive, and has really slowed us down. Especially because we can only afford to work through them one at a time. Sure, we could have put all that time/money into making parts, but then we'd have been out of business as soon as the first boatload of copycat junk from China hit the market. I know a lot of companies just slap 'patent pending' on everything, and the whole patent system is a joke and a scam, but we don't really have any other choice but to play along. Have you read about the first to file bullshit? They're stifling innovation and killing small businesses and entrepreneurs. Sorry for the rant, argh... it just gets me fired-up.

How much total rise to you want? Our KTM stabilizer mounts are adjustable from 23-53mm, in 5mm increments, and our universal stabilizer mounts are available with 24, 26, 29, 31 & 34mm of total rise (we can go taller with the KTM mounts because of the way the stabilizer mounts are secured to the tripleclamp, it's a lot stronger).

I'd like a bit more but can't make it work with the cables. The main thing I like about the rox is the rotating adjustability. I'll have to work out a way to allow for the added height of the mount I reckon.

Robo's manufacturing parts in Chico and Tyler's running the business and shipping parts out of Bend and I'm down in the bay area right now. So we're spread out all over the place and this morning when a small box of parts showed-up, it was the first time I've seen any of the finished parts in person. Was really cool to see our name on the outside of a box, and felt even better once I opened it up. This stuff is sexxay.

What??? You have parts stocked at a location in Bend, OR? I am going right through there on my way to the coast next month. Any chance I could stop by and buy some parts on the spot? Well, just a pair of black c-calmps actually.

Sweet. What hours could I stop by? I would be coming into town Friday evening October 6th and leaving in the morning on Saturday but I would love to try and stop in on my way through.

Oh just give us a call. Number is on the website. No retail storefront. No regular hours. We'll just make a point of hooking-up with you whenever you come through.

They're universal, and they're designed to be a stronger outer handguard mount. If you're like to read more about them, here's a link to the product page on our website, and please feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
