30" inseam, we deal with that same problem and a factory lowered BMW G 650 GS works great for that!
My wife, Louise, got us started riding again in 2004 on Burgman 650s which we rode from Calgary to Montreal in 2008 for our 25 Anniversary. *Since then we both upgraded bikes, me to an FJR and her to a VStrom DL1000.
The only time she rides pillion with me is around town for quick trips and she's kinda tired, otherwise, she's on her own bike. On longer trips she'll be on her own bike for sure.
Here's a couple of pics of her from our last trip in August 2011 ...
This one is from the Run to the Hills camping trip we made with the local VStrom group ...
She's talking about doing a solo trip from Calgary to Ontario this summer too.
And as you can see she's a redhead!

My beautiful fiance

Be jealous boys
Don't ask cause I don't know how I got lucky enough to get picked up by this one ... But I don't mind one bit
Sure looks like a keeper to me.
Well thank ya!
Which lights are those?
Nice adventurer girl, tho...
I'll ask her and get back to you but I think it's just a dollar bin kind of deal with some Velcro on each side.
Just had to put this thread back on page 1 with a photo from yesterday morning!
Ain't it great to have riding partner that doubles as a sleeping partner!
Her first bike, a Dt125 that she started out riding on the dirt roads of the Wildlife Refuge at KSC.
A couple of years later she'd moved on to a VTR250, which is her favorite bike to date. This pic taken at the Gap in 2010.
Another from the same trip. She looks pretty good off the bike too.
In the north Georgia mountains on her DT175.
On her Ascot in Florida.
I am one lucky man.
I love this thread. I can't believe I just found it today. I just got back from the Overland Expo put on by Overland Journal in Flagstaff, Arizona. I've got a KTM 690smc right now but I'm getting the 690 enduro and heading out on an 18,000 mile trip.
Great bike too! I've got a picture of my RZ350 at the same spot, it's even the same color as your 500. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Consider the Suzuki GS500f. I just traded mine in for a V Strom 1000 after 5 years of riding. The low seat and upright riding position is favorable for short legs and long rides. I took mine on a 2100 mile loop to Canada last year and was extremely pleased with the performance. Many of those miles were off road too.
Did you *really* have to include the beach shot???
Lucky, hell... You WON the whole freekin' lottery there!!! She's not only gorgeous, but she loves to ride!!! Who could ask for anything more? One in a million... you better appreciate that.
