Well. The title hasn’t been used. What can we do with it? :D
    North, South, East and West.
Just thought I’d throw this up as a spot where new & old folks could post up and say hello, ask questions, show off your bikes, plan rides…Etc…Etc…

Good idea Tuna, but I'm trying to decide whether I'm new or old. Actually, I don't think I'm either, physiologically, or adventurely (is that a word?). I seem to be stuck in a mid-life crisis, hoping I can hold onto it as long as possible. :huh

I've had a lot of street riding lately. I need a good dirt fix, the more technical the better, because I'm allergic to speed. :eek1

I was thinking HP, Moto Mountain or something else technical. Hey maybe it's time to try Windy Gap again, my memory is starting to fade (maybe I am old).

    Anybody? :ear

    Hey Twisty.
I'd like to try out HP soon, and at some point this fall or winter check out the Talladega NF. :deal

The lake level is way down.
I spent the day dry docking and winterizing the pontoon.
%#! boats are like swimmin' pools... A big PITA. :bluduh

We ought to do my Horsestomp Weave route when it cools a little, if you want to ride TNF. Camp at Horsestomp, it has a lot of dirt.

That looks like a great route. Can it be done in a day or does it take multiple?

It's about 170 down there and 180 something back. Ya'll might do it all in a day, but I always take 2 days. All the dirt is FS road or dirt county roads, horn mountain is about the only dirt that would be slow on a big bike, nothing to stop you, just rocks, little rock ledges, ruts. There's always a line though.

Oh yeah, some guys from down south just rode it, and they found a road gated, its an easy work around but I haven't fixed it yet.

Your bikes are too nice. If I'm going to borrow one it needs to be one that's already lost its cherry, like Fernado's bike that he offered to let me try out at the Fuzzy in Oct. Thanks for the offer though.

Re. the Blogspot idea, between bikes, guns, facebook, politics, fishing, cooking, music, and porn (not necessarily in that order) I've got too many websites to keep up with as it is already.

You can ride this route MB. The only thing to fight is horn mountain and horn valley road starts right next to horn mountain road and takes a smooth dirt/paved road through the valley and comes out at almost the same spot.

    I am in:D

Been looking for a big bike ride to do. Wife is due in Feb. so I have to get a lot of riding in before the baby comes.

Supposedly there is a dirt route from Cataloochee to Knoxville...anyone have any info on this? Havent done much research on it, but that could be another leg to this. Then hit Knoxville and slab it home.
