    Now here's an Oldwing:

My '77 GL1000, bought it in ~1995 after it had been sitting on someone's back porch for several years. Eventually got it running well enough to ride it to Wyoming in 1998 (and back too!). Sold it in 2004 or so.

ah, i'm broke anyway. LOL... besides that I couldn't buy another bike unless we sold the old Harley, which Lori still has not decided if she wants to do or not, yet.

Of course not! Not enough electronic gadgetry and rider aids to offer it in the States. And I'm sure it lacks "character"

Cut and stacked much of it split a little of it. Moved a lot of 20 ft pieces and large diameter pieces to the back of the property to deal with later. I have two fire places I don't use very old house they are not efficient any way and probably dangerous. A buck stove insert and double walled pipe in the chimney is what I would install if I were to use them. Burned wood most of my life sometimes it was all I heated with don't really care to now but could if I had to. Going to make a couple table tops out of the large diameter pieces.
We sit around a fire outside often in the winter have a cold drink sometimes roast little smokies and marshmallow. Love a fire very primal but can be a mess in the house smoke stains and smells and such. Do you burn wood?
