I take it you've ridden this route?
Sounds like a Hwy 41 Iron Butt Challenge to me.
I may have, not really sure. I just don't get out of town much on the bikes
Pfff...only 2000 miles. What challenge?
He did most of that on a KLR... He hasn't had the GL/SS Enterprise for very long.
I bet he has a huge collection of the "Buns of Steel" work out VHS tapes.
Why oh why didn't I buy a Seargent seat!
Corbin seems totally disinterested in my seat dilemma. By the way, the Corbin will not allow the rack to mount because of its length.
Sorry to vent my problems here, but, I feel you guys are the only ones who might listen to me. I'm really bummed and thinking about selling the GSX.
I need a hug!
You might take a smaller hit if you sell the seat.
Is the stock GSX seat a 2-piece? I know the stock FJR seat is & the 1-piece Corbin actually rubs on the rear grabrail when you put it on. You actually have to slam it on pretty good. :huh Evidently Corbin is real generous with their length...

It's a one piece. The stock seat has to squeezed past the rack to get it on but it does go on. I pulled the rack back, installed the Corbin, but there was no way I was going to get the rack bolted back up. I sent Corbin an email to their Service Dept explaining the problem, they have yet to answer. I read on Max-Suzuki that their service dept was less than stellar. I guess it's true.
The Corbin has to go. So sad. I really like the one on the Bandit
BTW, I put the beads on the stock seat and it made me feel like I was up too high. Maybe that will take some getting use to.
Thanks for starting this Mr Ernbo!
True. I was just venting.
Hollinville Opry House
Williamson, GA Hwy 362
You won't find any barnstorming in this town.
^ I think I found it. How far and which direction from Gray?
I know exactly where this is, have admired this same wall myself from the "eatery" across the street. Gotta beat FIreman there
Not far from where you are. There must be 41 different ways into this town.
So I was on my way to get the Tag on Sunday and I got about a mile from the house and my clutch cable broke.:dog
So I am grounded again until I can get one. Ordered it last night should be here by Thursday.
