This is about 10 miles from the North Ga. Tag so someone can do a two for one special! All you have to do is find the Incline Railcar and you found the Tag. SORRY JUB.[IMG]

Weird. On the Desktop it is "right side up", on the IPad or IPhone it is "upside down". Posts #'s 5761 and 5765 are still upside down on the IPad yet right side up on the desk top.

Jub, the only thing to do is grab another beer.

I don't understand:(: I sent my laptop in for repair trying to find out what the upside down problem is. I posted the last post on my desk top and it looks fine. I think this might be a problem with my Photobucket account. Any input is welcome.:ear

Are you useing a phone to tahe the photos? If it is a phone. Do you hold the phone vertical or horzinal.
I don't know much about it, just wondering if it might be the camera?

You may have found the problem. I did some research and it is my phone in conjunction with certain computers. Some computers do not read the direction that a photo from a I phone is sent. Still don't know the fix. I am taking the pic's with the phone right side up with the button at the bottom. Anyone, Anyone, Buhler, Buhler

Google keeps taking me to Lookout Mountain in TN. :cry

Question, could I throw a rock into TN from the tag location?

No not unless you were Superman. The rail car's were used to build the dams for Georgia Power.

The only way I can get the photos taken on my Iphone or Ipad to be the correct orientation is to put them on the computer by email or other means and then rotate and save. I don't know if it is my system or if others have the same issue. What is wierd is the Photobucket App seems to be hit or miss with regard to photo orientation. Sometimes correct, sometimes not. What I do not unsderstand is I am sitting at my desk looking at the thread, on the desktop it is fine, on the Ipad it is upside down.

    Pass the bottle Jub.

I had this issue when I first started posting with my IPhone. For an IPhone, at least in my case, when I take a picture I hold the phone rotated 90 degrees CCW. The top of the phone on my left and the bottom to my right. The picture then shows up orientated correctly on both my phone and on my desktop.

The photos are upside down, but only while viewing them with the iPad. They look normal on all the PCs I use. I also have a photobucket ap on my phone but orientation has never been a problem. I don't know what's causing it, but, it sure is weird!

Hope GaGator doesn't mind me providing a little help here.. Since some things are not easy to find on G-maps, it might be helpful to look at the older USGS topo maps. You can do this by going to here:

    http://viewer.nationalmap.gov/viewer/

Using the tools, zoom in close to where you want to look. Open the 'Other featured data' tab on the left table-of-contents, and turn on the 'Scanned topo maps' layer.. There are a lot of features not easily found on other maps... like old railroads..:evil
