Ok, I got it, kinda. I left too late, and all my pics are in the dark. I couldn't get a shot of the dam from the same point as the tag owner, so I technically failed...the gate was shut at sundown and I was there with my "standing in the corona of the sun" Hella's on full blast. I DID get a shot of the lit-up power station, but not of the dam like Flux.

Second issue, I am heading SOUTH over the weekend, not north. If you guys grant me a tag on this (I'll give the pics if you want them, or you can declare them as invalid, it's ok), the tag will likely head south.

So, it is up to you guys, I'll let you ring in before I show the pics so you can just "reset" the tag or take my submission, knowing the tag will likely go to another part of the state. Let me know what you'd like. :)

Well, since I got a performance award doing it, I might as well put up the tag today. :umph Thank you, Georgia's "finest."

Pic and clues after I blow off a little steam.

    More at 11...ish.

Ahh, what the hell, there's no time like the present.

Ok, this tag has a story, prior to the tag story.

We left work early today, no work to do and our work is dependent on whether the Army has something for us or not, so I played hooky after 2ish. Of course I jumped on Mapsource, figured out where I wanted to go, and took off on the bike post haste!

I found some interesting roads on the way to the tag. Nothing like Suches, but interesting. Almost a few curves. Plenty of dirt roads, and I hit a few, but I was on a mission.

I eventually made it to the tag, did my thing there and made nice with others. I then jumped on the bike again and took a slightly different course.

One thing to note, on one road, not too far from the tag, you will cross the same railroad tracks twice in less than a 1/4 mile. Basically the road makes a "C" and the tracks go straight though. The COOL thing was that there is a serious ass jump at each one! You will get some serious air if you are prepared for it and hit it right. I guess between a couple of dirt roads (that were slick sand) and the jumps, I was "feeling ADV" through and through. When I wound up behind a scooter in a town near the tag, I passed his ass like he was sittin' still because he was asleep, not moving at a red light. I guess the local constabulary didn't like that and 10 minutes later guess who's on my tail? He can't ticket me for the pass because he took so long, but he caught me doing over 70 in a 55. :umph Oh well, I roosted his ass when I finally got my helmet back on and my award safely in my tankbag. (I really did, but it was just grass so I doubt any got on him) :poser

Anyway, the rest of the trip back was uneventful. I will say this, on all the roads I was on around the tag, I didn't see any cops EXCEPT the one I lured out of a little town. Watch the little towns. (I knew this, but was "feelin' it" and was stupid.

    Anyway, here's the tag.

    Here are the clues:

    1. Lots of ghosts are probably here.
    2. Do you have a passport?

If you guys are stumped I have additional clues and photos. Let me know. Unfortunately, I think I've made it too easy.

Well, I figured out where this tag is, but I'm 286 miles away right before a busy weekend. If it lasts a week, I might swing by and pick it up on my way to Grantville, Ga.

    Oh and first post, hi.

I know where that is, in fact I have a pic of my last bike sitting in the same spot. Does that count as a preemptive tag? :lol3

Nice to finally see some come this direction, although I think the mountains are actually closer to me than this spot. :D

Damn, I made it too easy. I am headed down to Apalachicola tomorrow, maybe I should re-tag somewhere down south...far south?

Nah, it's a good one with some really interesting history. Well worth the trip for someone, especially those interested in that period.

"Wisonsin"?!?!? This is GEORGIA tag dude!!!

Nah, just kidding... I have no idea where it is. Anyway, the idea isn't for it to be hard... the idea is to get out and get riding. This is the first tag I haven't recognized... I like it! :thumb
