Cool. I just added it to the Dropbox and Google drive locations. Are you using Acrobat or ArcMap?

I've been using an old Acrobat 9 Pro Extended that can do the georeferencing. I just find 4 points and type in their latitude longitude from Google Earth. I then check the results by importing a GPX track of our ride into Avenza PDF Maps for Android. Seems to work pretty good. I understand Adobe removed that feature in Acrobat 10 and later :-(

    Lucknau,
Went riding with my son to the Tillamook State Forest this last weekend and used your map on our iPad mini. It was great! We would have been lost with out it. Thank you for the service.

Prettier background shading and whatnot, but too bad they chose dark green for trail coloring!

Awesome, thanks! Way better than my converted photo version.

Yeah, it is pretty difficult to distinguish, when zoomed out. Might be fixable. I'll look at it this week.

Well.. Might be fixable with Illustrator, but I'm not sure whether it will wreck the georeferencing or not. And I don't have Illustrator. I was thinking if we just asked the map's creator to create a version with the trails in red they might happily oblige.

edit: I emailed them, to see if they'd be into it.

Already got a response! There's going to be a revision (to the Nestucca OHV map) released in a couple of weeks that has more trails and a legend. The guy who wrote back agreed about the trail colors, and is going to ask their GIS guru about it. Stay tuned, at http://www.arrmc.net/

I split the Winom-Frazier OHV and Desolation OHV PDF into single page PDFs which retained their georeferencing and will work with the PDF maps app. (found at the link on the first post)

Hey, if you use the Avenza PDF maps app, don't upgrade to the newest version, unless you want to either pay an annual fee (min $29.99) or be limited to only three maps at a time.

Judging from the reviews, I think anything before 11/14, but I don't know for sure.

Edit: Still good before Nov 11th and before version 3

That sucks, I could maybe swing a one time charge, but not annual. Any other apps that work as well that you know of?

I agree. It's cool for what it is, but not useful often enough to warrant paying a subscription fee. I haven't seen anything else that does the same thing, although I'm kind of surprised acrobat reader doesn't.

I'd also like to get the apk of the old version. I just reset my phone to factory settings and don't have the original app.

The vendor who sells the apps, suggests that the workaround to the 3 map limit, is to keep all your maps in a separate location, and re-import the ones you need, when you need them, juggling the loaded maps as necessary to stay within the 3 map limit. :puke2
