Can I use an Aerostich on/off switch with a Gerbing heated jacket liner? Gerbing's literature makes mention that only Gerbing's devices (temp controller, on/off switch, etc.) should be used with their products. My Aerostich on/off switch plugs directly into the liner so I'm hoping it works as I will not have to purchase a temp controller.

If the coax connector is the same you shouldn't have a problem. At the worst you would blow the fuse. You may want to consider a temp. controller switch. Before I got mine I had 2 settings ON=BROIL OFF=FREEZE.

I had one but sold it after I found that I wasn't using it as much as I thought I would. I don't know but my liner just never seems to get as hot as everyone elses. I sent it to Gerbing's and they installed somer warmer panels in the arms and took it in a little in the mid-section. It's better but not the 120 degree oven I hear others rave about. It's wired directly to the battery so I know it's getting full power.:dunno
