This weekend I'll be at a gathering of the german GS-Forum (in 53547 Rossbach-Wied) and next weekend another one of the Boxer Forum (in 56332 Burgen). Both somewhere between Bonn and Koblenz)
Und somit sind die Bayern raus, ey?!
Kann ich nur unterstreichen!!! Guter Hang-out!!! :slurp
If there is none we will start one!!! PM me when you're in the HH area! I'm just 30 klicks away with guest facilities!!!!!!!!
...30 klicks in which direction? And what is the name of the city/village?
I'm about two hours due east of Touratech. I'll be there for sure, just not sure which day. Probably on Sunday. I want to check out the sales items and do a test ride or two if possible.
I live in the very south of Germany at the east end of Lake Constance, between Wangen im Allgäu and Lindau. I'm five minutes north of the Austrian border right off the A96. Any adventure riders travelling past that want to avail themselves of my guestroom are always welcome. If you're going to be in this area and want to hook up for local riding or overnight trips in the Alps drop me a line.
Now we are talking
I'm a German Import to the States!

Sorry for the late response. ?
C'mon Uwe, Oelde is not that bad... ! Well, looks like we'll be drinking beer first at the Vortex in Atlanta again in July .
My future is still fuzzy. We have not made any decision either way. It's too early for that...
Since my KTM will be picked up today, Detlef has offered his HD for transportation to the Vortex... At least, we will be "two-wheeled"
talk to you soon!
I am just back from the hospital. Was there for a small surgery and right now its hard for me to sit on my ...

Not yet, sitting currently in California (business...). Weren't you scheduled to be in China? Are you still coming over to the US of A beginning of July?
In any case, wish you a speedy recovery from the surgery . Time for me to get up. Time difference to Germany is 9 hours...

That's right! It's about 30km to Tübingen...

Good stuff, cool, especial the "KREISVERKEHR IN HOLLAND"!
Mit freundlichem Gruß aus Küntrop
While I am not German myself, and therefore forbidden from posting in this thread (or so I read somewhere), my brother (German born and raised) and his family live in Tuebingen and I have visited often. So I just wanted to extent a greetings to everyone out there in my adopted third homeland (The US and Mexico coming before I met my brother). Hopefully my bike can join me on a future visit!
My brother has a sister (long story) who lives in Basel and I have visited there as well. I will be watching intently as the Germans take on Turkey in just a few hours!!!
