I was just going through on most of the roads the last 2 days. I stopped and got a picture of that "ouch" sign as well. The weirdest part is that I was also on an Explorer.....

    Fantastic!

Gotta love JTNP, indeed, so close to L.A., but a whole lot more serene than most parks.

Thanks for putting that together. :clap

God, I wish they would put a shaft on the 800 Tiger! I just cannot manage the "Big One" and I really do not need huge Hp or seat height that gives me nose bleed or weight that would cause a hernia... If my Versys had shaft drive, I would never ever get rid of it and until any of the "others"..be it Yamaha Kawasaki Honda.etc....come to their senses.... Looks like I will have to wait a long time...and yes.. my Versys is one hell of a do it all bike and will not trade it for any other with the noisy messy chain hanging on the rear!.

Get a Scottoiler e-system for your Kawi and your chain issue is solved:evil
It is way better than the vacuum controlled v-system they still have because it's perfectly adjustable

Thanks Salami, but the issue I have is the result of the daily maintenance / oiling...Its the fling off that covers the rear of the bike and saddlebags... even reaching and staining my riding jacket...removing the bags for overnight motel stops ..Reaching under the subframe to put my Triumph on the centerstand always end up with black oil spots on my hands. The crud that builds under the front sprocket cover and the black residue over the mufflers and rear wheel rim...it goes on and on.... Yeah I am a whining sob' but when there is an alternate method of drive and a whole bunch of good motorcycles out there that would be Brilliant with a shaft drive, its a shame that manufacturers don't realize what a sales success pretty much any one of their D/S style bikes would be..I am sticking my neck out here, but if the BMW GS 1200 series only came with a chain drive, I do not believe it would have enjoyed the popular following it has today..If the current 800 cc series appeared with a shaft (as did my very old airheads of years gone by) then that would also be on my short must have list....Sorry to rant...I dislike chains but you probably know that now!

Us amateur video geeks can learn alot from you and Nik's very slick and professional productions. Is it just the two of you producing these vids?

Seen most everything. I just reject what doesn't work for me. I have multiple tankbags and prefer to let the bike be the beast of burden.
