Something I've always wondered (no, not about the girl - who is cute), is not having a front brake on a Harley Davidson a fashion statement or is their some other reason to remove/disconnect the front brake? I don't really mean to focus on Harleys, as some other bikes have the front brake disabled - maybe this is a feature of choppers in general (although I don't consider the Harley in the photo a chopper)?
Doncha know those things will kill ya????
Flip ya right over the handlebars!!
well back in the day , HD riders did know to use a front brakes or have the balls to use one ,but in her case ,well you know.
Is the guy on the left Robert Gordon?
Those are some beautiful curves!!!!!
Well...the girl doesn't look too bad at least!
Look's like she made a bad choice of a boyfriend. That bike sucks. LOL
HD's are long and low and can really haul down with only the rear brake.
I know you are now taught in bike classes how the weight transfers to the front wheel.
I can lift the rear wheel off the road with the front brake on my sport bikes...so little use a rear brake does...except on long bikes.
My KTM 950 ADV rear brake works great.
Not all old bikes had good front brakes, as good as a modern disk brake.
And, yes Wilbur, the front brakes with, "out of service life" would lock up and cause a crash faster than you can say, "Oh sh1t:.
