i'd like to mount a set of givi v-35 saddle bags on my suzuki sv1000n .givi sells mounting hardware for their e 360 bags but to me they sit too high and don't look as nice as the v 35s and they don't sell the mounting hardware for the v 35 bags for my application . i have a cooscase trunk already on the bike that i'm happy with. i don't know where to start, do i just buy the cheepest used set of hardware from e bay and plan on cutting them up or buy new for a different bike. anyone try somthing like this before.

I'm confused. Are they not both part of the monokey line? if so they should mount witout issues to any monokey rack.... :huh

no, V35 have a scalloped back and a different mount, I've run them on a few different bikes.

OP, have you looked at SW-motech racks? they make racks compatible with the v35 cases for a number of bikes.

Sorry to say that SW-MOTECH does not make a "Contour" carrier for that bike. This is what you need for the shape of the back side of the Givi V35.

We do have a carrier for this bike

If you combine these with the Bags-Connection Aero Sidecase you'll have a nice set of quick release cases with a great shape. They look like this:

    Good luck.
