Wobbly Wooden Western Wagon...
Maybe it's my public school education, but I can only count one W in windmill...
I've got Wet Weather (2 Ws) here right now, should I pop outside and wheel my bike out into the open for a photo?
But then I would have to ride somewhere in the Wet Weather to get a new tag. I'm too old for unnecessary Riding in the Rain (2 or more Rs). Heck I wimped out on sailing in the rain this weekend.
dont be a Wiseguy!
A Wet Weather Wimp Would Work!
I Wouldn't Worry about it...
Is the motorcycle a ninja in this photo? i cant find it
I had to get a fresh tire mounted today, so...
While Waiting for my Wheel, I took a Wild, Wet, Windy ride on my Wife's Wunderbike, (F650GS), While trying not to Wreck, all the While Wondering What and Where I Would find a tag, When What did appear? A Wonderous selection of W's!
Grab: Western, Wagon Wheel With a Wooden Wishing Well behind a White fence, With a White Wren's house on the porch.
While ride away, I also spotted these Wobbly, once White Washed, Wooden, Western, Wagon Wheels too!
New Tag: Show me some R's
Red Rock Round-a-bout -
Yep...ninja bike...I believe you can see the front wheel just above and to the right of bridge.
Oh shit! Now we're playing eye spy! This game is about to get very interesting
That wock looks a bit big to thwow at a wascally wabbit when your wifle won't work.
Is that really a roundabout in North America?
Don't be dissing Elmer Fudd now!
There are a lot of round-a-bouts in the US. Tons here around St George, UT, including this one in Ivins, UT.
I know Portland, OR has quite a few as well, mostly smaller ones though. It's becoming a popular method to slow traffic in neighborhoods w/o stop signs. Often an excuse for artistic community works around here, placed in the middle of the "roundie" as the locals call them.
But the tag is R's, as in two or more, so can be anything... Round Robbin, Red Rambler, Rocky Road, A street sign with a R name and some other R... Have some fun and be creative.
We have lots around Pinehurst, NC too. I guess I have a new idea for a tag...
I was talking with the wife on the intercom while taking the photo and made sure you can see a part of the bike...look close you will find it!
actually as a roundabout that would make me annoyed....although i guess if its intended to slow everyone down it would succeed because visibility across/around is severley RED ROCK RESTRICTED
It's a 35 mph road, (~55 kph), and fairly tight, so taking it at posted speed is mildly fun and still provides enough visibility since it's mostly low traffic. In the US, most of the round-a-bouts are lower speed areas. Frankly, we can't handle a high speed round-a-bout that required visibility thru it. Too many cell phone, texting, idiots.
From my experience watching drivers approach this roundabout (the only one I found in Cincinnati), a majority of drivers quite simply did not understand who had right of way:
