14F here tonight. At least when we drove into the garage. Getting colder, I'm sure. Dry though, so roads are clear.

Smart car is still the tag. Kind of challenging in the states, but not impossible, just takes a little luck or effort to locate a dealer or a used one for sale. I mean hey, the classifieds are out there for every local.

I hear you on the salt. And the potential for unpleasant things with snow/ice. BTDT and too many times in the past. With age comes wisdom, but ever so slowly, eh? :D

The Swiss are good with challenges, maybe a neighbor has a hack? :evil

Smart cars are out there. I was sitting in a parking lot in Virginia the other day trying to post the NA tag and one drove right in front of me. Didn't have the camera ready, but it would have been a great shot - grabbing one while posting another. :D

I've been to Galveston Island last January - and I've seen a couple of Smarts there!
Just a couple weeks ago I've been to Maui - Smarts also present there!

So come on guys, if even TX and HI have them....

If I take a pic of a random bike with a smart does that count?

That may be stretching #9. The motorcycle in the picture must get to the tag location under its own power (The vfr870 rule).

And the tag was "Your motorcycle and a Smart car", so No. :1drink

But if you hadn't told us it wasn't yours, most wouldn't have known, so thanks for being honest. :thumbup

I'm up at a ski resort with no snow
Sitting at the pub and there are two bikes and two Smarts outside.
    I really thought about it.
But at this rate I'll have an easy tag when I get home this weekend

Are lift tickets cheaper when there's no snow?

A month? That's like 500 pages in ADV time. :rofl Ancient history. I remember it being talked about, but thought it ended up being 'military communications' instead that time.

Well, thought I'd be clever and look at used car websites and find one. Found a listing at a Ford dealer not far from here. Geared up and went for a misty, foggy night ride. Got there. Couldn't find it. Asked the sales monkey. "We sold that a little while ago. Anything else you might be interested in?"

"Yep, that Mustang Shelby GT" and then rode off.

Actually, that Shelby GT was going to be the next tag...

I used to see a few riding around. Then this TAG was posted and I haven't seen one since. WTF :huh

I saw a Smart car in Ada, Oklahoma today. Oklahoma is the last state to get anything, so i feel comfortable that Smart cars are everywhere now.

Bring on the Vette. I know where one is too. I just have to get the owner to let me pull my bike into his personal museum. :D

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...
