Thanks. I was going to try and get something more interesting in the morning on the way to work but looks like weather won't cooperate. I'll have to go with what I got on the way home. Find me a bagel shop.

I'm out for this one again, I fear...
As far as I know there are about 4-5 bagel shops in Switzerland. And they are usually only in the biggest cities, so no chance.
Gladly I'm taking playing another TAG game in D/CH/A, so I'm not completely out all the time... hehe :D
Don't get many here, but I'm trying though...

How about just a place that sells them or the local equivalent. I'm flexible when it comes to creativity.

We have a ton of them here as in most larger U.S. metros and I haven't had breakfast yet.

...the largest seller of bagels in the US is Dunkin Donuts, go figure.

So then I sat there at 2am wondering what to tag next.

    And then I saw this:

The new tag is a sign bearing the work "goat".
Bonus points for an actual goat in the picture.

Of course I was most of the way home when I realised the obvious next tag was a synagogue to go with the bagels.

And now, as the time fast approaches 3am, I am off to bed.

Went back out to find a firehouse. Found another goat.

Then found the firehouse. Was a private residence for a guy who restored old military vehicles.

Now find a good old fashioned butcher shop.

    60pan who is Bruce?

Bruced is the term used when you go out and get a tag and someone else posts it before you get a chance to. Not sure which of the Tag games it started in.

I checked the web site. I think I would enjoy the goat you found more than either of the two I found.

Wow, you guys are jut too quick. :1drink
I sometimes wish I'd still be living in Berlin. I would grab the hell out of you! :D
But not having any real city nearby makes things tricky sometimes.. hehe.
I almost got a grab on the goat thing before you, though. Just not quite lucky enough.
    Cheers! :freaky

Well, according to Wiktionary, carniceria means butcher shop in spanish, so, a high school it is.

Well, what do you know. My wifes alma mater is on my way to work.

Sorry about picture quality. Cell phone doesn't like low light conditions.

Getting a picture of mine would require a 500 mile round trip.....not that there's anything wrong with that.

I had a new tag but you have to be able to read the sign for it to work so it will have to wait. No, it didn't have anything to do with cops and donuts. I'll get a better picture on my way home from work.

Here's what I was shooting for this morning. Find a sign for a business whose name refers to a time of day.

    That's a great one! :evil
If you had posted it an hour earlier I could have grabbed it on the way back home from work.
Now I'm already up here - warm and comfy, having my after-work beer and dinner soon. I could grab it tomorrow, i.e. in maybe 15 hours or so... But I guess, it will be long gone by then, as usual... :D
Anyway have a good night and cross fingers everybody for all the people in Japan and the whole Pacific.

I tried to post it this morning, but, the rain does weird things to the touch screen on my phone. I wasn't able to adjust the exposure so you could read the sign.

Well said. Everyone affected by the quake and the tsunami is in our thoughts.

    After daybreak there was daylight...

It's more of a period in the day than a specific time but I thought it was cooler than some of the other ones I could have gotten.

    Does it work for you?
