I have a 2003 950 Adventure with silver and black plastics.

I have a new set of black plastics thanks to Dune and would like to perhaps fit a new style glovebox, 2009 or later, and keep the full set of plastics as thay are in nice shape. Are these a direct replacement or will I also have to replace the tray

You'll also need the locking mechanism as the mechanism is triggered by the ignition key that you use to remove the seat.
    I've done it on a 950

I'm thinking about the same conversion. How does the locking mechanism work on the newer boxes?

So I would need these three parts also?

You need to get the locking mechanism for the seat swapped to the new mechanism if you want to be able to lock it.

Personally, I don't like the new mechanism. The glove space is also reduced and it's pretty flimsy. I'm not saying the "old" glove box is a great design but I'm happier with it.

And yes you'd need to get the parts you listed. You could always use it without the lockĀ… not that it's very secure anyway.
