A few hours later and presto...all ready and inspected for loose bolts. Just have to change the engine oil and rear differential oil. Also time for a visit to the dealer for the throttle body sync.

Gave the Daytona GTX boots a shine too while I was at it.
They survived the rain onslaught with not a leak. Super boots.

RsZk, or moonw5, how many miles did you ride on this trip? I'll never get up there, so between you and Anna, I'm enjoying BC and Alaska in the rainy season....tp

Short, sweet, and spectacular RR. Thanks guys. Did you get the panier to stop leaking?

I got the leaking minimized while travelling. I'm going thru all cases and using rubber O rings or silicone to eliminate leaks and potential leaks. Then I will test it with a garden hose.

    Dirtdreamer,
Thank you for posting the thread to Anna's Adventure !!! Read it and was totally sucked in to "the adventure".
Could totally relate to her trip (or portions of it) !!!

It sucks now..... back to "regular life". Travelling seeing new sites and people can get addictive. Can't wait to travel again. Loved the coast, the ferry ride to Prince Rupert, and Hyder, Alaska. Ohhh yeah, the Fraser Valley by Lillooet was pretty incredible too !!

That's why we ride and read, to experience and share experiences. Really enjoyed this RR, too. Anna has slowed her posting rate, but when she posts, it is worth the read and the wait time. dd50

I never got any photos in Tofino, but Bullseye managed to get a few even with the downpour:

Thanks for this great report. Nice photography skills. I was wondering which camera you were using, and the lenses.

    Keep on Traveling :clap

    Thanks!

I was using a Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone for some, and the more creative ones I was using the Olympus OM-D body with Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f/2.8 Lens. No post production was done on the photos as I was doing a live RR. Lots of camera adjustments made to get the images.
I sold all my Canon DSLR gear when I got a hold of this relatively small camera system. Both camera body and lens are water resistant too, which worked really well for this trip.
